UNICEF and Youth Take Mapping to New Heights
A Program to Create Safer Environments
The idea for using youth led digital mapping to create safer communities started with UNICEF in 2009. Working with local partners in Africa, young people used an innovative mapping technology to mark HIV and AIDS risk points in their community. After nearly three years of learning and hard work, the program is ready to take off. Now we need your Tumblr likes and reblogs on this picture to help us reach for the sky.
